Rehearsals
- Thursday, 8pm - 10pm.
- Normally at St.George’s Church, Edgbaston.
- Occasionally at other city centre locations.

Auditions are informal and usually consist of a designated member sitting with you whilst you sing with us. It’s usually mutually stress-free that way.
If you would like to be considered as a solo singer at some point, please tell Phil and he will make time to hear you sing during a rehearsal.
Sight singing is an advantage, but not essential. To love music is vital.
For those new to Opera, please don’t feel intimidated by the tag of ‘Grand Opera’. If you fancy a good sing, and a chance to take part in something different, then come along and try us out.We will give you a warm welcome, and you’ll discover that most of us started with little or no experience!
Membership fees are currently £85 for a year’s full membership. This is reduced to half for members in their first year, and other concessions are available.
Occasionally we ask for a little help for costume and/or score fees.
